 Series 1 Character, Charlene Andrews (Jayma Mays), Will be returning to Heroes in the upcoming season. Hiro will travel back in time to the Diner where Charlie works but, this time, will successfully kill Sylar. This will quite obviously mess up the Heroes timeline but at least Hiro can see Charlie alive and well before his own death. 

 Jayma Mays, however, will most likely make a short appearance (a single episode or two) due to her work on other shows and her character's originally brief life span (due to a blood clot in her brain).

 Emma, the potential love interest for Peter Petrelli, will be played by deaf actress Deanne Bray. Emma has the power to see sound waves as colours and works in the same hospital as Peter. However, although she merely works in the file room of the hospital, her life used to be about so much more. She was studying to be a doctor but then something tragic happened that threw her off track. Now, Peter accidentally takes her power and they shre the discovery of that power together.

     As stated earlier, volume 5 will be centred around a mysterious group called the carnival. And basically, it's where Samuel (Robert Knepper), Joseph (Ray Park) and Lydia gather people with powers and persuade them to join the Carnival. However, the teaser trailer at Comic Con implied that they were up to something much more sinister...

    On another note, Claire will be attending university, trying to live a normal life (yet again). There, she will be joined by roommate, Annie (Madeline Zima), tortured by sorority pledge master, Becky (Tessa Thompson) And haunted by a mysterious array of  suicides and other problems on campus.

Finally, the little tidbits: Danko WILL return, Ando will finally win Hiro's sister (or at least kiss her) and Sylar wants his body back and holds hostage a baby Matt Parkman to get it!

This year's Comic Con also brought some tragic news about a much-loved original character, Hiro Nakamura. Hiro, after returning to Japan and apparently getting some sort of check up for his nosebleeds and headaches, discovers that the illness is terminal and that he has mere months to live.

 Although this news may bring sadness to Hiro-fans, all is not lost. Hiro's last storyline wil be an interesting one. Soon after discovering his fate, Hiro resolves to fix every problem he made during his life. Hopefully (for some), this means the return of time travel! However, others may rise in uproar against the idea of travelling back to change the past. We can only wait to see what the story will offer and I hope it pleases fans worldwide.

    With this years comic con came a number of different plotlines for each of the characters. However, most of you will be wondering how the show is going to deal with the whole Nathan/Sylar story. All you Sylar fans may in fact feel like you're being dumped with only HALF of a Sylar! Wrong! 6 TIMES WRONG!

In volume 5, Sylar will actually be present in 3 different forms. First of which is clearly Nathan's body. Meanwhile, however, Parkman is affected by Sylar and will become somewhat like him somehow.

And finally, during the Heroes panel at comic con, Zachary Quinto was asked what the weirdest thing he got to do whilst filming was and he replied-
"Crawling out of a grave was fun!"
